GBA Girls Baseball Tournament - Steel City Showcase
Join the oldest community baseball league in Pittsburgh on September 19-21, 2025 for the first ever Greenfield Baseball Girls Tournament! We will celebrate and promote girls baseball by welcoming visiting teams in a tournament, and highlight our own rec program opportunities.

Enjoy a fully stocked concession stand and grill, plus local homemade favorites. Hammer Field offers views of downtown Pittsburgh, real bathrooms, parking, a wired sound system, lights for night games, and plenty of grassy viewing area. The field is connected to basketball, pickleball, and a playground, and is easily accessible from any direction right off the parkway.
Tournament Details
12U - Four Teams
Three guaranteed games for each team (weather permitting). Limited spaces and early registration is encouraged.
Schedule
Friday: Instructional Opportunities (optional)
Saturday: Full day of games
Sunday: Playoff and Championship games
Instructional Options
We will have opportunities for siblings, local girls, and a visiting team to participate in a 7U instructional scrimage, a 10U clinic, and a 12U instructional scrimmage.
Awards
First Place: Gold Championship Rings for all players, team trophy, medal and t-shirt
Second Place: Silver Championship Rings for all players, team trophy, medals and t-shirts

Located a mile from the Oakland neighborhood which is home to Pitt's campus, the Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History, and Phipps Conservatory, Greenfield offers easy routes to Pittsburgh tourist sites. Just a few miles from downtown Pittsburgh and the North Side, you are minutes away from PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, PPG Paints Arena, and the Heinz History Center (which is offering free admission for all children!). Don't feel like exploring? Stay at our field all day and enjoy a true community vibe -- the neighborhood "yinzers" will be there to support all the girls as they play in a fun and welcoming environment!
